Its the time of the year again, the most colorful season of the year, my favorite season. Its kinda cold but its bearable :) 

 

A Day in Canada - Vancouver

We went to Canada for our Wedding Anniversary. Actually we flew to Seattle and drove to Bellingham we stayed and explore the area for two days before going to Canada. We drove to Vancouver from Bellingham, Washington its like thirty minutes away from the border and another thirty minutes to downtown Vancouver. 

We first visited the Lynn Canyon Park. We were kinda early and this park was open already. We only explore a lil bit of it because we dont have enough time to do some long hike. It was such a beautiful park. I love it.

After the Lynn Canyon, next was the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Its kinda a must to visit when you're in the area. It was a lil bit expensive for the entrance but for me who loves nature it was worth it. 

The bridge was a lil bit scary because its wobbling and swinging, a lot of people did that on purpose haha. During our visit the park was so packed with visitors. Its a famous park.

After exploring those parks it was time for lunch and of-course I'm a filipino and i cant resist having Jollibee. I am from a states where there is no Jollibee haha. 

We explore the Vancouver downtown just a lil bit before our Fly Over Canada schedule. Trust me one day is really not enough but i am so glad we were able to squeeze Canada in on our schedule. I've always wanted to step a foot in Canada and i finally did it.

We did two of the Flyovers and it was cool, i like it. If you had been to Disney World and ride the Soaring , it was like that.

Ohh my Chatime, this is my favorite tea place in the Philippines so even though i was full already i had to have it lol.

 Overall, i really enjoyed the day i wish we stayed a lil bit longer. For sure someday we are going back.

Kentucky with my man

Gosh its been a while since the last update, OMG i really neglected this blog :( Sorry ya'll but you know here we are still together and i know its gonna be forever. We visited Kentucky for the first time. We went to The National Corvette Museum and Mammoth Cave National Park. Thats the only place we got to explore because we only went to Kentucky because hubby had a convention there.

A lot of things happen for the past 3 years, i will try to put some of them here.

 

Snow Tubing - First Adventure of the Year 2019

Yesterday, January 1, 2019 we went to Snow Tubing in Two Ponds Tubing and Snow Board Park. It was only thirty minutes away from home. It was our first time to do Snow Tubing. I was scared and nervous at first try. I was thinking what if it flips lol... But it was so fun, we enjoyed it if only its not cold we stayed more lol hahaha

Snow Shoveling

Hahaha yup we got a lot of snow on the First Snow Fall. Its my first time to do snow shoveling. Its my first snow here in the USA as well. I experienced snow before in the UK so i am not that so so super excited to see it but still seeing the ground all white for me is beautiful :). 

I helped him do the shoveling so it will be done so soon because its too cold. :) 

HELICOPTER RIDE IN LAS VEGAS

This was part of our Anniversary Celebration. We went dinner at Hells Kitchen. Then after dinner, we went into a Helicopter ride around las vegas strip. We were picked up at our Hotel by a Limousine. This was all our first time so this was a trip to remember ":) :)

I cant believe it, time flies so fast. I still remember the day we get married, it seems like yesterday. Now we are celebrating our one year as married couple. I just want to let you know how lucky i am to have a husband like you. I am so thankful to our dear God for giving me a man like you. You are the best, i couldn't as for more. Closing the Long Distance Relationship (LDR) (Filipina-American Couple)

Ahhhh its been a long time since my last update here. I was busy doing all the paper works for processing to close the LDR set up hahaha. It was such an exhausting and frustrating process but believe me its all worth it. Im here with him now. Finally LDR is over :) :) 

This is just a quick update. I will write more about the process soon :)

Long Distance Relationship Success Story (Filipina-American Couple)

Hello everyone i decided to make this blog to document our LDR Success Story.
It was all started in an online dating site Christian Filipina.

Yeah we only met online, it was funny that i been in that dating site for a long time. Talk a lot of guys and nothings happen.Then had a more than a year of  LDR to a guy from out of the country, thought he is the one, first we were happy and in love, but many months passed and still we did not see each other personally, I get cold towards him. Felt like relationship goes to nowhere. I decided to end our relationship. Told to myself whoever man will go and see me personally will be the man that God given to me. I ask and prayed from above, ask for a sign.

When i am about to give up like I'm not opening my account anymore, i only open when i received a notification that someone messaged me. One day got a notification saying someone is messaging so i open and replied. The next day i got a reply and the conversation continue. Days passed by we decided to have a video call to see each other on cam. It was Saturday as i don't have work on Saturday and so him. It took us an hour to make move about the video call until he bravely called. It was okay we awkwardly talk haha.

Honestly he was not the typical white guy i am dreaming of, we have same height, has a brown eyes, while i am dreaming of a tall blue eyes white guy. Days and weeks passed by our communication keep on going. No day will passed without messaging each other, until one day he asked me to become his girlfriend. I am hesitant as it seems like too fast, but then i just go with the flow i said yes. It's LDR and who knows if he's serious or just playing. I told him that if you are really serious and interested with me you should go to the Philippines and see me personally. 

A week later he said he is going to the Philippines to see me personally. I just said okay, in my mind i dont believe it, I will just believe when i see a plane ticket. After a month of talking he send me the plane ticket itinerary and i was OMG this is it, he is really going to see me.

The day came on his arrival, i was on Terminal 2 waiting for him. I can't understand what i feel. I dont know, nervous, afraid hahaha. Then the moment of truth, saw a bald man walking out in the arrival area and its him. Hahahaha it was awkward at first but we just clicked. It seems like we know each other from a long time "hahaha yeah for a month of chatting" but there is that connection that you dont understand.

We went to Palawan for a holiday, yeah i went with him. I feel at ease on his side. He is so kind and he respect me a lot, very gentleman. This was all happened last year from March 2016 to May 2016.

Thats it to make the story short after the first met, he went  back again to see me, met my whole family, asking their permission to asked my hand from them lol. Went to boracay where he proposed. I was lucky that my Visa to UK was approved and stay with him for four months. After 4 mos i go back to the Philippines to prepare our wedding. We just got married last month September 30, 2017, and as of now i am here in UK again as a tourist Visa.

Our Second Trip Together - His second time in the Philippines (Filipina-American Couple)

After four months from his first visit, he went back to the Philippines. This time he has a plan on proposing to me. His vacation leave was two weeks, before we went to Boracay he met my parents and my siblings first. He asked permission from my parents about the proposal. Lucky him my parents said yes hahaha lol. We went to Boracay and as soon as we arrived to our hotel (Hey Jude), he talked to the receptionist about his plan (I know nothing about his plan that time). He arranged a nice dinner in front of the beach, he was worried because that time it was raining but good thing the rain stop during dinner time. We had a very nice dinner when he suddenly grab my hand and say something blah blah and then i knew what he's gonna do. He was about to kneel but i told him not to do so. I know the hotel's worker was waiting for that thing to happen because they keep on looking on us, but I dont allow him to kneel i just told him to give me the ring hahaha. I told him to only kneel to God. 

I was really happy that time,it feels like heaven. OMG i cant believe it, we had a really good time in Boracay. The next day after our Island Hopping, i was again surprised when i enter the room, with flowers and balloons all over. I feel like a kid again. He never run out of surprises.

Yes we were engaged yay. After his vacation he went back to the UK and ohh well our communication was getting stronger, and we planned that i will visit him to the UK to see how are we living together in the same roof.

Our First Trip Together - His first time in the Philippines (Filipina-American Couple)

Yeah that's right. Our first trip together was El Nido Palawan. We stayed at Cadlao Resort, we only had three days two nights because, well hahaha he thought that if ever relationship wont work we can go back to Manila right away hahaha i only knew this reason like many months later. Well relationship goes well we just clicked, so he feel bad for not having a week of stay in a Paradise like El Nido. We had a lot of fun and do Island hopping, too bad we are not prepared for an underwater camera, but over all we had a blast and had a lot of photos still.

The start of our forever, after his vacation to Philippines, he went back to his place. Everything goes well, no more issues, no day will passed without messaging each other, even how busy we were from our work we still had time to message, we made time for our daily conversation and just message any free time. Every weekends were our video call date. I am so lucky to have had finally find a guy who's dedicated to me. We were both lucky. Respect and Communication is the KEY!
